Halloween is looking very different this year, but you can still dress for the occasions!
Dressing up for a huge Halloween party is out, heading out pumpkin picking is in. With Covid-19 rules in place, people are looking to alternative ways to celebrate the season. We’ve chosen our favourite ways to join in with the festivities, and what to wear for them.
The Pumpkin Patch
Pumpkin picking is huge in the US, and the trend is making its way over to the UK. The quintessentially autumnal activity calls for some fall outfits to match, so pick an outfit filled with cosy fabrics, textures, and neutral colours.
The Neighbourhood Trail
Got kids? Why not take them on a pumpkin trail instead of trick or treating? Neighbourhoods across the country are replacing sweets at the door with decorating their homes and doors in a spooky way, so kids can spot how many they see. Why not hand your child a treat for every pumpkin they see so they won’t miss out on those delicious sweeties? For this, you’re going to need a cosy coat as the weather cools down. Add a touch of Halloween with fall colours, cat themes, or a trending teddy piece to stay extra warm.
The Night Out
If the pubs are still open where you are, pick 5 friends and head to a bar or restaurant. Keep up with the spooktacular theme without donning a costume by picking a gorgeous black or feline dress for the occasion. Plus, you can keep wearing each piece for the rest of the month!
The Spooky Movie
It’s cold outside, why not stay in and watch a spooky movie? Grab your popcorn and your cosy loungewear, and cuddle up in front of a cult classic or Netflix’s trending film.
