Autumn 2020 Trends for Men

Seasonal trends and Fashion Weeks aren’t just for women, there are some incredible autumn 2020 trends for men hitting our rental boxes too.

From autumn staples like checks and knits to fashion favourites like tech fabrics, there’s plenty to choose from this fall. Take a look at our favourite trends for the upcoming months…

Shearling and Corduroy

Love or hate it, the runways for autumn/winter 2020 were awash with shearling and corduroy. Pick from all-over shearling or classic aviator styles, and corduroy shirts, trousers, coats and trending shackets. This year, these pieces aren’t just available in classic autumn colours- pick from punk reds and blacks, or softer blue hues too.

Where would an autumn trend preview be without checks? This quintessentially fall piece is back again, and we’re more than okay with that. The runway was amock with heritage check blazers and trench coats, stylish trousers and cosy flannels, in autumnal sunset hues and punkish blacks, whites and reds- which we will come onto soon.

Utility Fabrics

From cargos to quilts to puffers, utility tech fabrics are here. Heavily pocketed pieces, padded gilets and khaki colours adorn this military-inspired look, or technical puffers continue down the athleisure trend as we continue to work from home and dress casually.

One of the easiest trends to pull off from the runways is monochrome. Red, black and autumnal browns were key this season. Mix between full looks in one tone, a mixture of shades, or just choose your favourite red piece as a nod towards the trend.

Like with the ladies, leather is set to be a key trend for men this year. Leather trousers, shirts and trench coats were all over the catwalk, so toned-down pieces will soon hit the high-street. To hit this trend in a casual style, think leather bikes and trench coats, or make sure your looks match your favourite leather or PU shoes.
